Tyrol.
Botzen, June 28. Both field and tree fruits are standing excellently in our region, and people expect a wine year just as blessed as the previous one; already, transparent berries can be seen here and there among the grapes, and so, given continuing favorable weather, the rare occurrence may happen that in some places the vines will display ripe grapes by the end of July. As there is still a considerable supply from the last wine harvest, wine prices are gradually beginning to fall. The prices of grain types, however, remain fairly stable; for instance, a Wiener Metzen of wheat currently costs 5 fl. 36 kr. to 5 fl. 48 kr. and rye 3 fl. to 3 fl. 12 kr. R. W. — As alarming as the thunderstorm was that we experienced here on the evening of the 12th of this month, it passed without damage and did not have the consequences for Doctor Aichholzer that were recounted in No. 49 of the Bothe von Tirol.
